Manufacturing & production

No briefing.No spindle.

Attraccess checks safety briefings and machine introductions at the badge reader, enables the machine through your PLC and records every session – the written assignment your safety officer needs, without a binder.

Today

Paper doesn’t stop a machine.

The rules exist. What’s missing is a check at the moment someone presses start.

01

Briefings in a binder

The yearly instruction is signed on paper. Whether it’s still valid at the machine, nobody knows until the auditor asks.

02

Shared keys and passwords

The key switch hangs next to the machine, the control PC password is on a sticky note. Anyone can start anything.

03

Usage hours are guesswork

Maintenance runs on calendar intervals, and machine time is split across cost centres by gut feeling.

How it works

Qualify. Tap. Enable. Record.

From the safety briefing to the cost-centre report – one system instead of binders, key switches and spreadsheets.

  1. Beforehand

    Briefings with an expiry date

Record the yearly safety briefing and machine introductions with expiry and refresher intervals. Appoint trainers per machine or machine group.

  2. At the machine

    Tap the company badge

Operators tap the badge they already have at the Attractap next to the machine. Attraccess checks briefing, introduction and machine status.

  3. In the control cabinet

    Enabled through your PLC

A PLC output, a relay or an MQTT message switches the machine on. If the work starts on a control PC, the Companion app unlocks that instead.

  4. Afterwards

    Session, report, maintenance

Every session with person, duration and cost centre. Usage hours trigger maintenance, and a machine in maintenance stays locked.

Honest status

What works today – and what’s next.

Everything below is either in the product today, set up with you in the pilot or clearly marked as planned.

Briefings and introductions with expiry

Expiry by date or after a period without use, trainers per machine or group, supervised sessions that turn into an introduction.

Available

Companion app for control PCs

Locks the CNC’s control PC or a shared CAD workstation until a qualified person starts a session. Windows, macOS and Linux.

Available

Maintenance by usage hours

By operating hours, number of uses or interval. A machine in maintenance stays locked for everyone except maintenance staff.

Available

Exports for audits and cost centres

Sessions per machine, person or project as CSV, plus an audit log of every rule change.

Available

PLC, relays and MQTT

WAGO PLC outputs, Modbus, relays and MQTT/HTTP flows. We wire and commission the first machines with you.

Set up in the pilot

OPC UA

Talk to machine controllers directly over OPC UA.

Planned

ERP / SAP export

Machine time per cost centre straight into your ERP.

Planned

Attraccess decides who may use a machine. It is not a safety function: emergency stops and safety interlocks stay as they are.

“Set up in the pilot” means the software side exists, and we wire, configure and test it with you on site.

FAQ

Questions from the shop floor.

Why a small team

Small team. Direct answers.

Attraccess is built by a small company in Hamburg. For you, that means fewer layers between your problem and the fix.

The engineer on the call wrote the code

No ticket ping-pong through support tiers. You know the people by name – and for the pilot we commission the first readers with you on site.

Your gap becomes our sprint

Missing an interface? We build it with you in the pilot instead of putting it on a roadmap slide. Scope, cost and ownership agreed in writing.

You shape the product

Pilot partners have a direct say in what we build next. Your requirements end up in the product, not at the bottom of a feature-request queue.

Code your security team can read

Attraccess is source-available. Your IT security can review the source code of the server and the reader firmware.

The questions procurement will ask, answered upfront

  • No ISO 27001 certificate. We answer your security questionnaire in full – including the answers that are “no” – and show how we scan our dependencies.
  • No 24/7 call centre. Support hours, response times and escalation are agreed in the contract – and you reach an engineer directly.
  • What if we’re gone? Attraccess runs on your servers, with your data in one folder. Data export, licence continuation and source-code escrow can be part of the contract.

Pilot it on three machines.

Start with a free, no-obligation call. We help you pick the machines, wire the PLC and connect your identity provider – and you decide after 30 days.

  1. 1Free intro call about your machines
  2. 2Pick three machines and agree on criteria
  3. 3Wire, connect SSO, brief the operators
